Calcium silica alumina is a new type of composite deoxidizer auxiliary material. It utilizes the active properties of the metals silicon, aluminium and calcium. After being added to the ladle, the silicon aluminum calcium has a good effect of deoxidizing and purifying the steel

Silicon aluminum calcium(Off grade silicon) is a by-product of silicon metal production. It's the separated part which are less purity of silicon metal. Usually silicon slag contains higher contents of Fe, Al, Ca and other oxide. Silicon, with other elements like Fe, Al, Ca, have strong reaction with oxygen; Meanwhile other impurities are oxide also are not harmful to liquid steel. Those characters made silicon slag to be a great de-oxidizer.
There are three ways to use the silicon-alumina-calcium composite deoxidizer:
1.add one-third of the molten steel to the ladle at one time. This may be effective because the silicon-manganese, ferrosilicon, etc. at the bottom of the ladle have undergone preliminary deoxidation. Adding at this time is more conducive to the deep deoxidation of SiAlCa
2.add ferrosilicon and silicon manganese at the bottom of the ladle to play a comprehensive deoxidation effect
3.add half of the silicon-alumina-calcium to the bottom of the ladle, and wait for the molten steel to add the other half of the silicon-alumina-calcium to the third part of the ladle.
APPLICATION
The main points of the silicon-alumina-calcium composite deoxidizer product:
1. Reasonable chemical composition is conducive to forming slag as soon as possible and shortening the processing time
2. Due to the fast slag formation, the curing time and power consumption can be reduced.
3. Reduce the consumption of ladle refractory materials, increase the ladle, and improve the service life of the furnace.
4. Good desulfurization and deoxidation effect
